We are currently looking for an Internet Applications Support Analyst, who will work for the EMEA team. Descrierea postului: General • Provide day to day technical support for EMEA Internet applications • Provide support for automation department • Support global roll-out of application to overseas locations • Provide back-up function to SQL DBA Specific • Prioritize and schedule day to day support items • Create and agree SLA’s for VIPS, KPI & Spec support within EMEA region • Identify cause of operational issues • Monitor VIPS, KPI & Spec error e-mails and action as required • Rectify operational issues where possible or escalate as required • Replace with Provide audit trail and future knowledgebase for support items • Use of SQL Server 2005 Management Studio \ Profiler tools to perform data analysis • Use of Visual Interdev IDE to perform application debugging • Assist in data copying functions using SSIS packages to move data between environments • Provide telephone training and support as required • Reviewing System Procedures & Documentation • Assist in functional and UA testing of VIPS application code • Development of new system functionality • Migrate code between environments as required Cerinte: MANNER: Works well in a small team Able to work under pressure Approach and solves problem systematically Professional appearance, excellent communication skills REQUIRED SKILLS : Experience in writing documentation Excellent communication oral and written English Excellent telephone manners Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Relational database experience Good knowledge of T-SQL and tools Enterprise Manager \ Query Analyser \ SQL Server 2005 Management Studio Basic DBA knowledge (backups \ monitoring) Familiarity with Visual Studio Tool Set & Debugging PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE : 12 months web based applications support (ASP.NET/ASP)(E) 12 months relational database experience 6 months T-SQL Application testing \ development experience (ASP.NET/ASP, VB 6.0, C#, VB.NET) ATTAINMENTS : Degree qualified in Computing or similar discipline GENERAL INTELLIGENCE : Good communications skills Fast learner APTITUDES : Committed to continued learning Works on own initiative OTHER: Flexible with respect to hours worked and travel Additional languages Oferta (bonus): Competitive salary.
