CASABLANCA SERVICES recruteaza pentru un important client din Cehia: SOFTWARE ENGINEER : JAVA The successful candidate for this position will perform work such as development, testing and supporting of software for monitoring operating systems and various devices, agents using SNMP protocols to report their status. Responsibilities • Design and code complex units/modules/products that meet functional and business requirements on schedule and within budget. • Develop plans outlining steps and time tables for developing programs and communicate plans and status to management and other development team members. • Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections. • Perform unit/module testing of software to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications. • Fix bugs, add enhancements, and convert software to other platforms. • Set up software configuration control and software development environments including program source control to ensure reliable backups and source code integrity. • Participate in design and code reviews with other developers. • Assist Quality Assurance Team by providing assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems. • Develop and direct software testing plans for quality assurance. • Attend department meetings (conference calls) and provide input to establish and improve departmental processes and procedures. • Provide product content to Technical Writers. • Must work well within a team environment, understanding that team success is the end goal Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development • Expert knowledge of JAVA (incl. JSP and Servlets) • Expert knowledge of Java Script, HTML, XML • Expert knowledge Apache, Tomcat, Eclipse • Knowledge of JSF is a plus • Intermediate knowledge and programming experience in C • Experience in UI design and implementation • Good knowledge of Windows and Solaris and/or Linux • Analytical skills • Problem solving skills • Knowledge of English (written and spoken) We offer an interesting work in an international environment, learning opportunities, potential for future profession growth.
