Titlu Job: Java Software Engineer
This position is available in a company active in the networking and VoIP field. This person will participate in the analysis, design, development and maintenance of various products in the Tools Development group. She/he will maintain and enhance current products and will participate in the design and development of applications for both internal and external use. She/he will also liaise with different groups within the company to determine their requirements and priorities. This person will also train end users on the efficient use of the developed applications.
This person will be part of a team in a newly founded department who will collaborate for the development of a second version of an application. The application is used to test the networks of clients based in Northern European countries. The team will work for the integration of the application with both the clients' and the hiring companies applications.
Requirements:
*Java
* Web application development experience and knowledge of diverse web platforms and technologies, including J2EE, JSP, in Windows and Linux environments.
* Oracle DBMS, SQL
* Oracle Application Server / Java Enterprise Server
* Ability to quickly learn and grasp new technologies
* Desire and ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
Would be an advantage:
* Experience in development under both Windows and Linux
* Oracle DB installation and administration experience
* Low-level understanding of network related protocols and technologies, layers 2-3, 4-7
* Hands-on experience with Sun Solaris / Sparc platform.
