Titlu Job: Regional Manager
Lateral is a company that delivers design and technology with passion for clients on 3 continents (North America, Europe and Asia). We are a team of over 100 talented professionals located in 4 offices (California, New York, Oradea, Targu-Mures & Cluj-Napoca).
The RM will have overall responsibility for the development and growth of the Targu Mures office, reporting directly to the CEO.
As a RM, your role spans across three distinct areas: People, Services, Products/Innovation.
You will take part in the management team, and have impact on transformational decisions that support the growth of Lateral.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing highly skilled people
- A solid understanding of technologies, process and discipline
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken English)
- P&L responsibility, budgeting, forecasting
- Servicing high value clients
- Strong results orientation with proven ability to mobilize and energize complex cross-functional teams to deliver against business goals.
Responsibilities:
General
Be a brand ambassador for Lateral in the region, as well as with our clients abroad.
- Attention to trends, best practices, industry/ professional standards evolution – and ensure these are applied/ used to stimulate advancing practices and performance of the business unit
- Deliver results today, while positioning/growing/adapting to deliver improved results for the future
- Understand role, obligations & responsibilities
People
- Hiring, managing, growing and mentoring a team of highly skilled people
- Overall responsibility for "Health" and motivation of the Team (both professional and as personal development), including performance evaluation process
- Constantly communicate with management team, clients and peers.
- Passionate about what you are doing
- Succession planning, resource development, professional development and risk management
- Stimulate innovation through various initiatives (Labs, Fedex)
Client & Project Level
- Representing Lateral for top tier clients
- Contract drafting, Proposals when required
- Identification of opportunities, 2nd tier sales
- Travel when necessary to represent Lateral abroad
- On time, On budget & On quality delivery
- Outside hours coverage is rare but can expected for Emergencies or Critical issues.
Finance
- P&L Responsibility for the Mures Office
- Planning and Forecasting
- Ensuring financial & process discipline (eg time-tracking, internal processes)
