DBA, IBM DB2, SAN, Linux/AIX, DBA Analyst needed for an global financial services company based in Canary Wharf. The successful candidate will have production operational support experience for IBM DB2 within an enterprise Linux/AIX environment. The key responsibilities and technical skills are shown below: Key responsibilities: • Provide operational support for the IBM DB2 Server database environment. • IBM DB2 Performance Tuning analysis and alerting • Provide 24/7 on-call cover on a rotational shift basis. • Work with Security Analysts to develop new DB2 security policy, tablespace • Disaster Recovery testing activities. • Ensure internal database systems are managed to the highest standard by following industry best practice. Technical Skills: • IBM DB2 (9.x/10.x) • SAN replication, HADR, QRep, VVR • Korn/AWK Shell Scripts • Knowledge of ITIL framework
