Team & Role: DBA Sybase Specialist

Location: Bucharest

Level: Middle (2 - 5 years’ experience), Senior (5 – 10 years’ experience) 

Responsibilities: 

·  Very good knowledge of Oracle or Microsoft Sql Server database administration

·  Advanced knowledge of SQL tuning

·  Knowledge of programming in PL/SQL and shell UNIX/Linux

·  Knowledge of Oracle RAC technology, Data Guard, Grid/Cloud Control, RMAN, Datapump and so on

·  Knowledge of ITIL

·  Understanding IT Service Management concepts (ex. IStandard)

·  Good knowledge of the principles SOX

·  Experience in supporting Databases > 5 years

·  Advanced knowledge of office systems and IT equipment (hardware and software)

·  Solid documentation capabilities

·  Manage multiple requests effectively 

Requirements:

·  Managing Sybase IQ Databases, Sybase ASE Databases and MsSql Databases

·  Sybase IQ Installation;

·  Sybase IQ Patching;

·  Administering Sybase IQ Server;

·  Managing Sybase IQ Databases;

·  Indexing and Loading/Exporting Data in Sybase IQ Sybase Central;

·  Database Management;

·  The Sybase Central Interface Running the Sybase IQ Agent Sybase IQ Multiplex;

·  Sybase IQ Backup and Restore; 

·  Sybase IQ Troubleshooting; 

·  Sybase IQ Migration to MsSql or Oracle;

·  Sybase IQ Performance Analysis UNIX shell scripting SQL troubleshooting
