Titlu Job: Big Data Engineer (for Cyber Security)
What are your tasks?
- Building and maintaining of Big Data environmentsincludingCloud environments
- Support deployment, customizations, upgrades and monitoring viaDevOps tools
- Creating automationacross the Big Data environments
- Participation inR&D projectsrelated to Big Data and Cyber Security
- Tracking trends and latest issues related to the domain of conducted projects
- Create processes and procedures in the environments
- Creating technical documentation
- What do you bring with you?
- Min. 2 years of experience (5 years in case of a Senior role) inLinux/Unix systems including installation, configuration, networking, backups, updates and patching;
- Familiarity withopen source Big Data platform, to include the following: Hadoop, HDFS, HBase, Spark
- Readiness to work with Big Data(processing of terabytes of data reliably in daily manner) and Fast data (processing tenth/hundreds thousands of events per second in cluster/cloud environment) Good working knowledge in at least oneof the following fields:
- Experience with Spark streaming, Kafka, Nifi, Flume, ZooKeeper, Hive, Hawq, Cassandra, Impala, Scala, Java
- Familiarity with languages (especially Scala, Python, R)
- Knowledge of application architecture patterns, development patterns
- Knowledge of Anisble , PostgreSQL
- Know-how in Big Data environments - familiar with technologies like Hadoop, MapR
- Structured work organization, pleasure working in teams and a high level of service orientation.
