Titlu Job: Web Designer

Web Designer/Artist to work with the Web Development team and Internet Marketing team to create designs for Web sites and related collateral to the Web Sites.

 We are looking for individuals who can work at least 4 hours everyday US Eastern Time business hours and the rest before or after that time:

⏰ Monday - Friday (8 hours/day)

  • 8:30 - 12:30 (working in our office) 16:00 - 20:00 (work from home
  • 12:00 - 20:00 (working in our office)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Collaborates with web design and development staff, Internet Marketing, and stakeholders to determine Web site needs.
  • Accurately interprets strategic and creative requirements and evaluates the time and effort required for each project and meets specified deadlines.
  • Design and construct web pages using HTML and CSS. Animation, integrating video, and audio is a plus.
  • Critiques other designs and solicits feedback on web pages produced in a collaborative, team environment. 
  • Presents work for approval, negotiates changes, and corrects and revises work until approved.
  • Creates and enhances methodologies for designing solutions to Web-based development problems.
  • Designs and produces creative collateral and production images for use on Web sites.
  • Determines and recommends new technologies to utilize, such as tools, browsers, languages, and plug-ins, based on company's needs.Conceptualizes long-term needs of Web development, and plans and manages related projects.
  • Stays current with any industry-wide changes in design philosophy and any new tools and technologies being used for web design.
  • Works in established style.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in Web Design, degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts or related field.Must be able to work in a creative team environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Experience with interactive information design, navigation, user interface design and usability principles.
  • Must understand web page layout principles, limitations and constraints, and have a strong eye for detail
  • Must understand the principles of responsive web design
  • Proficient in responsive frameworks including Bootstrap and Foundation, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Photoshop, and IllustratorProficient in HTML5, CSS, SCSS and SASS
  • Familiar with digital media
