1. Job Description Responsible for advanced handling of customer service requests within the area of Core and Packet with full responsibility for lead-time and quality He/she takes responsibility that WLA objectives that are being meet according to defined fault priority level Communicate with sub-contractors/partners/customers as well as with various internal units and stakeholders Analyze, isolate and solve complex fault issues as well as contribute to corrective actions 2. Competence Core and Packet high knowledge. Documented several years of experience from advanced service and/or maintenance within the requested competence areas Advanced knowledge in MSC (APT/APZ), HLR (APT/APZ), IOG, MGW, GGSN, SGSN. True customer mindset Excellent quality mind set Good communication skills. Experience of working in a global multicultural environment Excellent in written and verbal communication skills in English language is a prerequisite. Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to work under strong pressure related to scale of business impact Open-minded as well as highly service-minded with the ability to motivate people Take initiatives and make decisions 2.1 Detailed technical competences In the area of Access and Transport there are three distinct domains covered: • Core • Packet Should have experience equivalent to Level 3 or above according to the Ericsson Career Model. An Ericsson MS Service Engineer should be assessed to B or higher on all the products listed below. 2.1.1 Products and services MSC (APT/APZ) HLR (APT/APZ) IOG MGW GGSN SGSN OSS RC Resolution 2.2 Task Manages networks and nodes within the core domain of our customers 2.5G & 3G networks (switching including MSC, MSC-Server,MGW, VOIP, ITP, STP, TSP platform, IMS etc.) - Is responsible for performing periodic routines for keeping the 2+3G networks in a healthy state. - To achieve maximum efficiency automates (where possible) “daily routine” activities. - Is responsible for Fault handling and correcting them by investigating faults handed in through Trouble Tickets and system events/alarms. Major task is to restore E2E GSM & UMTS service functionality. - Is always ahead of unwanted network behavior (capacity, performance, reliability). - Participates in project activities, implementing / adapting (new) UMTS E2E service functionalities. - On regular base covering the 7x24 Call-out responsibility - Verifies and implements procedural improvements and changes and provides input on structural improvements in processes- and work instructions. - Verifies and implements in close contact with Configuration department network configuration changes. - Transfers knowledge in a structured way to direct- and NMC colleagues. 3 Qualification Bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent with minimum of 1 to 5 years of work experience. - Proven skills and experience in managed Customer Network environment(s) - Team player - Shares knowledge - Flexible attitude, and an “operator” sense of urgency - Specific Multi Customer AXE 2G&3G knowledge and generic Ericsson Core - Network knowledge both on (Wireline & Wireless) Telecom Networks - Proven capability in analytical troubleshooting - Stress resistant - Strong communicator both in Dutch and English - Participate in Call-out service (24/7) - Quick learner Please apply at http://www.senior.ro/?content=adauga-cv-personal , stating the name of the position you are applying for.
