Titlu Job: Remote DevOps Engineer
An exceptional opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a UK technology company.
We are a tech company currently in stealth mode, a team of serial founders and product leaders developing an intelligent solution that automates processes, cuts the waste to increase productivity and create cost savings for a specific industry.
You will demonstrate extensive experience in DevOps Engineering, be a technical expert applying best practices and provide support and guidance for the development squad. You will be a key player in optimising and enhancing our Technology Platform.
What we are looking for:
• Experience creating and working with development pipelines using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Maven, Ant, NPM;
• Strong production experience with infrastructure as code, containerisation and orchestration across multiple environments on AWS.
• Supporting QA Automation environments.
• Experience constructing recovery and incident response plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Managing the implementation and configuration of the infrastructure.
• Ownership of the devops pipeline and all development, test, staging and live environments.
• Reliable and predictable delivery of service to clients (Dev process, testing services, live, and monitoring)
• Mentoring of other devops engineers as the team develops.
• Adoption of internal IT to coordinate the infrastructure approach.
• Drive the future direction of the platform with a focus on cloud and SaaS.
• Developing fast and reliable automated code deployments.
• Completing code and script updates, as well as resolving product implementation errors.
• Overseeing routine maintenance procedures and performing diagnostic tests.
• Documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
• Contributing expertise on information system options, risk, and operational impact
• Collaborating with developers on software requirements, as well as interpreting test stage data.
