THE JOB
At Fortanixwe are redefining what cloud security means. Our customers use our softwareplatform to build and run software much more securely than was previouslypossible. We are seeking software engineers to extend the capability andperformance of our cloud security solutions. You will: - Contribute to afriendly and helpful company culture - Design, implement, test, and maintainone or more of: › The backend of our cloud security platform, written in Rust,C › Our Runtime Encryption® software for SGX, written in Rust and C - Helpdeploy, monitor, and tune the performance of our software - Participate in peercode review, which we believe results in a higher-quality product - Followsecurity best practices (don’t worry, we’ll tell you what they are)
THE REQUIREMENTS
You aresomeone who: - Exhibits uncompromising integrity - Pays attention to detail -Thinks critically about complex technical problems - Can work independently,while also being an effective member of a team You have: - Experience in Rustis very advantageous, but not a hard requirement if you're willing to learn andcover 2 or more of the following languages: - C/C++, Java, Python, or Go -Coursework and/or professional experience in computer architecture andoperating systems - A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, InformationSystems, or related field, or equivalent training or work experience - Securityexperience is a plus, but is not required - 3+ years of work experience -Excellent written and spoken English
