Required Technical Skills:

  • 3+ years of previous experience as a system administrator with a focus on Cloud Operations and VMWARE;
  • To have “AWS Certified DevOps Engineer” or “AWS Certified SysOps Administrator” certification;
  • Advanced system administration knowledge of, and work experience with Linux (CentOS/RHEL , Debian), MySQL, web stacks (Apache, Nginx, PHP) and Windows based Services;
  • Advanced experience with VMWARE and AWS Cloud Services;
  • Experience with backup and versioning systems;
  • Basic network configuration experience ( Cisco/Dell)Nice to have;
  • Understand the complete deployment lifecycle from design, build, test, deploy and maintain;
  • Some experience with automation systems (Ansible, Gitlab CI/CD, etc.);
  • Good awareness of security practices;
  • Programming language experience (e.g. node.js, Javascript, PHP, Python, Perl, Java).

Non-technical Skills:

  • A naturally helpful and communicative person who loves solving problems;
  • Very good and evolved analytical skills;
  • Strong attention to details;
  • “Can do” mentality, eager to learn and open to new challenges and new technologies;
  • Advanced English (written and verbal) required.

Duе to the constant growing dеmаnd for our sеrvicеs, wе аre rеcruiting an Experienced Cloud Engineer (AWS/Private Cloud) to expand our IT-operations team in Bucharest (full time position).You will be part of a team of highly skilled and experienced professionals working on the operation and expansion of our global IT- infrastructure and systems.

What the role will involve:

  • Analysis for our Cloud Operations : understanding our systems and the complex interactions between them;
  • Deploy, Manage and Monitor our AWS and Private Cloud services and applications worldwide;
  • Administrate, operate, and maintain our IT-systems and network globally with a focus on AWS Cloud Infrastructure Administration and VMWARE private cloud setups;
  • On Call Availability for all AWS Cloud and VMWARE related issues;
  • Propose and implement improvements to performance, security and costs related to our Cloud Operations;
  • Maintain, create and update documentations and processes;
  • Advise his/her superiors on all the latest trends, changes and opportunities related to AWS and VMWARE;
  • Assist and advise system-engineers on both Linux and Windows based systems.
