Titlu Job: PHP Backend Developer

Our client is an American Company that provides consulting services and full-cycle Software development services for the Life Science Industry. The company has a software development division in Romania and is developing, among other interesting projects, an innovative application in pharma industry which provides compliance procedure used in FDA.
Position Summary:
We are looking for a PHP Developer responsible for managing backend services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to request from the frontend elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of frontend technologies is necessary as well.
Responsibilites:
Coding back-end services;
Integration of user-facing elements developed by frontend developers;
Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules;
Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges;
Integration of data storage solutions.
Requirements:
Experience Requirements:
5+ years experience in PHP 7, HTML, CSS, OOP;
Practical and recent experience with frameworks (such as Symfony);
Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP;
Understanding of MVC design patterns;
Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds;
Previous experience with handling and querying databases;
Proficent understanding of code version tools, such as GIT;
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology tools (such as JIRA).
Skills Required:
