As Cherryfields we are looking for a (remote) JAVA8 Backend developer for high-profile clients in Germany and the United Kingdom. The right candidate has the option to work from Romania on a Freelance basis, integrated into our clients’ multi-location software development teams.

Technical Skillset:

Minimum of 4 years' of experience with:

Java 8 (essential
Spring 4
JPA/Hibernate
Git usage and code management
JIRA usage for task/ticket management
Documenting solutions and code
Unit testing
SQL
Providing RESTful services
Using thrift or similar IDL
Zookeeper
AWS products
HTML, CSS
Javascript
Maven
Continuous Integration
Linux

Personal & Methodologic Skills:

Producing back-end code to a high standard that not only functions correctly but can be understood and extended by other members of the team
Very good written and spoken English skills (CEFR B2+)
Team working attitude, professionalism, and punctuality
Availability to adapt to the clients working model
Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Ability to understand business process and balance requirements with technical solutions
Availability to travel aboard for short periods (optional)
