Role & responsibilities:
Your main objectives are to ensure the operational continuity of the datawarehouse environment and to see to it that the data is made useful for internal marketing and operations analysts. You will assist the Architect in the design and buildup of the datawarehouse. You will also collaborate with all involved parties to see that data is extracted from the live systems, transformed and loaded into the datawarehouse and will establish procedures for the structuring and the organization of this data. Opportunities for growth are abundant, for example, into business information analysis.
Skills & experience:
- Bachelor or Masters level.
- 2-3 years of experience in business intelligence and data-warehousing, in the start-up phase.
- Knowledge of and experience with ETL-tools (DataStage and Hyperion Brio are a plus) and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Detail- and results-oriented, flexible, ambitious and self-starting.
- Business-minded.
- Excellent communication skills in English.

Our client has developed a business plan for a new approach for consumer finance in the Dutch market. The business plan identifies significant opportunities for Rabobank to strengthen its position in the consumer finance market. To fully exploit these opportunities the product range will be broadened and strengthened, the bank distribution channel will be utilized more intensively and other parallel distribution channels will be developed, including the Direct Marketing Channel and the so-called Point-of-Sale channel. Almost all activities related to Consumer Finance have been brought together in a newly created competence centre that is part of, and managed by our client. A fundamental competence of the new organization is it's data driven approach to maximize business value through the application of business intelligence methodologies
Business objectives of this new business unit are very ambitious and will lead to a fast growing organization and leadership on the Dutch Consumer Finance market within a few years.
