Titlu Job: Network Developer
Specified qualifications for Network Developer role:
Substantial knowledge and experience with:
- Networking technology: WAN, LAN, switches, hubs, cabling, wiring , MPLS, X25, VPN, TCP/IP , Firewalls, Routers, ISDN, PSTN, Dial-In, Foundation, network printing, DMZ, NAT, proxy, DNS and load balancing
- Authentication and Authorization: SecureID, Secure Gateways, ACE, Radius, TACACS+, ACLs, RWA, certificates,encryption
- Environment control: Climate control , UPS power supplies, data center planning concepts
Duties and Responsibilities (including % of time spent on each duty)
Customer Delivery – 50%
- Execute resolution of all incident and problem enquiries
- Support the definition of small change requirements
- Support the refinement of large change requirements
- Investigate impact of changes to system components
- Produce a time and cost calculation for changes
- Test software changes
- Deliver changes and related documentation
- Solve software/hardware problems
- Maintain/develop technical data model
- Continuously improve customer experience
- Manage customer expectations
- As needed, performs activities outside of “normal” business hours (e.g. on-call)
Service Quality – 25%
- Execute the incident & problem management process
- Execute the change management process within defined standards
- Execute the incident & problem management process compliant with agreed Service Levels
- Execute the change management process compliant with agreed Service Levels
- Reporting about the performance of the incident & problem and change management process
- Draw connections between similar implementations and practices in the two regions and derive best practices
- Handle service management responsibilities across time zones without regard to physical domain
- Coach other developers
- Coordinate the implementation of complex changes
- Act and be recognized as a subject matter expert
- To deliver internal and external consultancy support towards staff and customers
Management – 25%
- Add value to the overall performance of the Service Line
- Maintain alignment of software/hardware development processes with other Service Lines
- Execute changes within architectural and security standards & guidelines
- Participate in virtual team environment that consists of members of different parts of the world
- Acknowledge cultural differences and leverage the differences positively
Experience
Functional knowledge & Skills:
- Substantial knowledge of customer and service oriented working
- Substantial knowledge of business and IT processes
- Substantial knowledge of related development tools / processes
- Fluent speaking and writing in English
Functional experience:
- 4-6 years experience as network engineer and/or admin in an operational IT environment
- 3-4 years experience working with Cisco equipment
- Experience with network design and planning
- International/multi-cultural experience a plus
Education and Other Credentials
Minimum bachelor working level
Relevant Certifications

Must have the ability to travel 10%.
