Titlu Job: Senior Web Developer

Skadool is a privately held startup in the web 2.0 social networking arena. We are working on a revolutionary collaboration and socialization system. The company has operated in the Cluj area for over three years and will be launching their service in 2010.
We are looking for a senior developer to help us with the architecture and implementation of our web client. The client is implemented in JavaScript and AJAX using a combination of internally developed modules and off-the-shelf libraries. This employee will work closely with company management to evaluate technical tradeoffs and identify technical solutions to business problems. The focus is on the client side but the sphere of influence will cover the entire application including the server side architecture. As a senior member of the company, compensation will include ownership in the company in the form of stock options.
We intend to fill this position immediately. We are looking for self-starters who want to work in a place where their efforts contribute directly to the success of a cutting-edge software company.
*Ideal Candidate Background:*
* BS or MS in computer science or a related field
* strong experience in Web Development, Web 2.0, JavaScript, AJAX
* a proven track record leading software developer teams and delivering quality products
* working knowledge of the following software development processes:
** Software Development Lifecycle
** Internet Software Design
** Configuration Management
** Testing Processes (Unit, System, Integration, Volume, Concurrency and UAT)
** Documentation
* very high technical competence with strong programming background
* ability to define, model and document user requirements
* strong good oral and written communication skills
*Plus Points:*
* hands-on any AJAX framework (YUI, jquery, prototype ...)
* object oriented programming skills with Java (desirable), C++ or C#
* basic database knowledge (MySQL)
