Titlu Job: ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEERS
This position is targeting on junior candidates - fresh graduates or with few years of experience who are motivated to learn new things, broaden his/her knowledge in the area of software development and gain new experiences in working for an international corporation.
The Mainframe Center is specializing on a development for the mainframe technology, which is based on the languages such as mainframe assembler or REXX.
The position Assoc. Software Engineer is responsible for creating and/or maintaining software applications for a product or family of products. Performs non-complex modification, testing, and debugging tasks. Assists with analysis related to software design and development and debugging or problem solving. Assists in evaluating impact of software performance, and recommends changes to software designers.
Responsibilities
Work with guidance from management or more senior software engineers to design and code non-complex units/modules/products that meet functional and business requirements on schedule and within budget.
Develop plans outlining steps and time tables for developing programs and communicate plans and status to management and other development team members.
Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
Perform unit/module testing of software to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications.
Fix bugs, add minor enhancements, and convert software to other platforms.
Set up software configuration control and software development environments including program source control to ensure reliable backups and source code integrity.
Participate in design and code reviews with other developers.
Assist Quality Assurance Team by providing assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems and the development of test plans.
Requirements
Debugging/coding skills (assembler on any platform and C language are an advantage)
Graduation in Computer science or similar
0 to 3 years of experience in software development
Analytical skills
Knowledge of English (written & spoken)
