Titlu Job: Technical Writer
The Technical Writer will produce communication materials for both internal use and external clients. This position has as major objective the familiarization of users / clients with the software products by producing user guides, on-line help, quick start guides, and reference manuals.
The work will include:
* Collecting, analyzing, and organizing source material
* Communicating with R&D staff for technical information
* Writing product documentation, including conceptual overviews, procedures, and reference material
* Submitting technical documentation to R&D staff for review comments and feedback
* Occasionally help with editing/writing PR and marketing materials
Requirements
* Degree in IT-related, English or Journalism field
* 2-3 years of experience in writing and or translating user and technical documentation for software products
* Prior experience as a system administrator is a key advantage
* Strong knowledge of computer terms and Internet-related terminology
* Excellent command of English
* Very strong editing skills
* Expert research skills
* Strong communication skills
* Experience with or knowledge of Visio / Photoshop / Acrobat
* Understanding of usability concepts
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
